Hey all. I recently added a 3rd tap to my kegerator. My dad got the perlick tap, faucet, hose, and Lowenbrau handle at a garage sale for $5. Not a bad deal at all. :D Now I can have 2 homebrew and 1 commercial for SWMBO.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the handle to screw on and face forward. When tight it turns too far and is crooked. I currently have it shimmed with washers to make it sit right but that used a good portion of the threads.

Is there a way of adjusting the post on the tap without using washers. It is a Perlick unibody (doesn't have the removable spout...not sure what model that is).

Thanks

BTW, the handle will eventually get replaced when I figure out what I want.

The little conical piece at the bottom of the tap should turn. You screw the tap into the faucet until it is all the way down, back off enough to line the handle up, then use the cone as a lock-nut.
