I am going to have a bunch of pears this year. I have found someone to press them into juice for me. My question is does anyone have a good recipe that uses pears?

Perry (pear cider) is rather good all by itself. You might try one of the graff recipes, substituting the pear juice.

I agree, make perry cider. If you add it into beer I always get a winelike quality to my beer that I don't appreciate unless it is aged on fruit. What I mean is that you will get a different flavor than a fresh pear taste, which is what everyone always thinks you will get. That is why most perry is actually apple cider with pear extract added into it, because when people say pear, they mean fresh pear.
