waiting for the pacmen to begin their work, this pic is 17 hours after pitching, my last batch I noticed the krausen started around 19 hours, so hopefully any minute now

Its a Pale Ale 1.053 OG 33 IBU's
SRM 9.5 looks darker to me though
The grain bill is based off an Epic Pale Ale clone

80% Golden Promise
10% Carastan
6.67% Light Carastan
3.33% Carahell

mashed at 150 for 90 mins

1.25 oz Willamette 10 mins
1.25 oz Sterling 10 mins
1.25 oz Revolution 10 mins
0.75 oz Willamette 5 mins
0.75 oz Sterling 5 mins
0.75 oz Revolution 5 mins
1 oz Willamette dry hop
1 oz Revolution dry hop

fermenting at 60

Yeah sometimes a little too much. A few smaller beers I made with it came out a little thin. I am making a st rogue red clone this weekend, hoping it leaved some character. Part of working with this yeast seems to be adding a lot of crystal malt to balance out.
