My ipa just finished up primary fermentation. I am currently cold crashing the yeast sediment out os suspension. My question is what length of time and at what temperature should I put my ipa in secondary

You shouldn't be using a secondary with an IPA. They're meant to be drank young. I primary mine for 2 weeks, dry hop for an additional week, and bottle or keg.

If you are cold crashing, why not lager it for a spell.

Well that makes life easier for me. In a couple of days when the yeast all settles out ill rack it off into my keg.
