I was thinking about a SMASH, but I'm not sure what hops to add. Would a SMASH be a waste of this malt?

Need some help here people.:mug:

I'd mash it with 0.5 lbs of british crystal, bitter to 40 IBU and add a nice finishing addition of EKG. Ferment with a good english yeast and you'll have an awesome beer. Following this or a similar approach will give you what I feel is a beer that highlights the base malt but enhances it with supporting flavors.

I've done several smash recipies with MO.
They are some of my favorite beers.

This is definitely a good malt for a smash, since its so flavorful by its self.

My favorites include ones with ekg, and a batch with Centennial. The ekg was about 35 ibu and the centennial batch was inspired by two hearted, and hopped like an ipa, to around 65 ibu. I use wlp 007.

You can't go wrong here really doing a smash with some mo in my opinion, by far my favorite malt.

Best of luck!
