Prior to my last two batches, I had almost always used a starter, but my last two batches were only 1.052 and 1.062 SG's and used Safe Ale 04 and 05 so I didn't bother.
The fermentation on the 1.062 ended kinda early, should I do starters for anything over 1.060?
At what gravity do you consider doing a starter?
Are starters even nessessary for dry yeast?
