I have a Tripel Like brew in primary right now. Will be a month this weekend. 1.082 > 1.008. I haven't had a beer this big in ABV a while..like years...and I've got more patience now. I have no prolbem leaving some of my other brews 5-6 weeks in primary then going to bottle, but this one appears to be done. What am I gaining in primary if fermentation and clean up is done, specific to it being a higher than my more regularly brewed pale's, wheats, kolsh's?

6 weeks in the bottle at least I assume. Thoughts?

11 pounds Pilsen
.5 Caravienne
.5 Aromatic
.5 Cara-pils

2 oz Hallertauer at 60
1 oz Saaz at 20
1 os Saaz at 5

IBU ~26

WYEAST Belgain High Gravity with massive blow off for a week.

My triple has been sitting in the keg for six months now. I'm in no hurry to rush drinking it. Give it some good quality sittin' time.

1.082 > 1.008 Impressive 89.6% Attenuation Impressive!

Yeah, extremely please with that..and I use a refractometer so I"m pretty sure that's spot on. 19.75 to 7.0. It's why I'm thinking there's no need to leave it in primary any more. Today was the first reading I took. I'll take one Saturday and bottle I think
