I love my mom

So when my mom asked what i wanted for christmas and i said anything beer, she said no freaking way. I am not supporting you drinking and making beer. She really thinks that I am obsessed by this hobby and by god i am. So when I look in my stocking, bammmm!!!!!!!! there is a little pocket book entitled the Homebrewers Answers Book. I love the thought mom. I said you should have got me a wort chiller and a single tier brew system but the book was even better!!! I know its cheezy

My mom bought me a Belgian Tripel kit for Christmas. And wasn't told at the LHBS that the hops and yeast need to be refrigerated. Whoops!

The wife got me a Red Ale kit. This is a double edged sword. I am happy because I get to make beer, but she's going to be sad if it doesn't taste like Killians. Oh well, at least I'm happy.

It'll be better than Killian's, especially if you listen to the coaches here.
