Want to thank everyone on here and the many great build post. I wanted a simple e kettle for extract brewing. I pulled the trigger and ordered up the parts and used my small 5 gal pot. Now that i know it works great im going to move into a bigger kettle. 120v 2000w stainless LWD element with Bargain fittings SS lock nut. No controller , i used a 2 gang box and wired a switch and GFI outlet. I am out of the kitchen and into the man cave ! :ban:

Congratulations, do be aware that a larger pot will require more watts even with the same volume of water. How much I don't know, but the larger surface area of the larger kettle will consume some energy.
