I've got my Auber 2352 setup and am "brewing" water for the initial test. I'll do a better write up after this weekend's brew. First, a question:

If I set my Al1 to 170, as well as my SV, will the alarm go off during autotune, or are alarms disabled during autotune?

Just looking for the simple answer on this one before I go and rip open my box.

Help?

If you have not already done so, exit autotune mode and test your alarm?

Logic dictates that one of two things is happening. 1 - The alarm doesn't activate during autotune. 2 - you've got an issue with your circuit / buzzer. If you don't want to tear apart the panel, then do as jeffmeh suggests and try eliminating the autotune function. You can just set your alarm value to below whatever ambient temperature is in your kettle - you don't even need to fill it up with water.

Yeah, logic . . .

Apparently I called in sick the day that was handed out :)

Thanks, guys. I'll do some troubleshooting tonight.
