Is this a good deal for a kegerator set up?

It's a little bit of a deal. However, if it's not exactly how you want it, you can build what you want for that price, or maybe just a little more.

You can get a fridge at Lowes for about $180.
Tower with two faucets for around $120
CO2 tank around $50-80

Do you need the carboy, bucket and pot? Cleaning supplies will run, what, $30?

Build your own is my opinion.

I already have the brewing supplies and would just use the carboy out of the extras. I don't have any equipment for kegging.

So going with your suggestion and still needing the kegs I can build my own for about $100 more than buying this set up for $400. Correct?

If I'm reading that correctly, I think it includes the two cornies. That does make it a bit better deal.

I often see standard kegerators going for $250-350 in my area. Most of those will fit 3 cornies instead of 2 like the one shown.

Just playing with some estimated numbers correct me if I'm wrong with this:

Estimate of Craigslist possible deal

(2) Cornies
CO2
Regulator
Lines from LHBS $225
Taps $50
Carboy $25
Clean Supplies $20
Line Pump $30

$350

This doesn't include an estimate for the fridge

If I build my own

(2) Cornies
CO2
Regulator
Lines from LHBS $225
Fridge from Lowes $180
Tower $120
Clean Supplies $20
Line Pump $30

$575

Are my numbers correct?
