Hi guys,

Tried posting this one in the electric brewing forum but nobody could shed any light. The question i have is with regard to scorch when pulling a decoction into an electric keggle. Do any of you know could the grain stick to the elements in this kind of setup an cause the wort to scorch?

Scorching seems to be extremely idiosyncratic. Some people have problems with it, some people never do. My experience with electric elements is that, so long as you have some amount of water and circulation (and a low density element), you'll be fine. But, there are certainly other threads on here with people describing horrible scorching that I can't explain. Best thing to say is give it a shot, unfortunately.
