I just made some jaom and i was wondering do you guys cap or cork you brew? i do not play on trying to carb it but i was wondering if you just think one method is "better" than the other?

I think a lot of guys will say that corking is better and will keep your mead preserved better over time. Assuming you store it correctly. If you plan on just drinking each bottle until there gone, then capping would probably be fine. Especially if you plan on using smaller bottles as tasters.

It depends on what it is. Based on one trial (still in progress), I find that crown capping may preserve the fruity aromas better than good quality cork. I'd say the jury is still out on this question (and may remain out for quite some time).

I use both. I also use Zorks. The one thing I would definitely avoid is synthetic corks.
