Kegging 'kit'?

Buying a chest freezer tomorrow. Found the 2 tap kit on midwest for around $300 without the co2 tank. Is that a good price?

I don't want picnic taps.
Should I pay the extra $50 for the co2 tank or get one locally?

Just throwing this out there try to avoid the el cheapo chrome taps. They suck so bad ( I know I have two of them) try to get perlicks if at all possible in your budget. Also keg cowboy has good prices too.

And to JoeyChops' point, it's available with upgrades for Perlick stainless faucets and stainless shanks, if you wanted to go that route.

I bought a premium two tap tower kegerator kit from Learntobrew.com with two 5 gal. ball lock corny kegs, upgraded Perlicks, along with a new 5lb CO2 tank shipped for $377.

Nice guys over there, so I thought I'd pass along my good experience.
