anyone had "Ekstra Weisse Ale"?

picked some 16oz bottles of it up at trader joes and could not even drink it. just disgusting!

Poured out the beer and saved the bottles.
 
Have you had a Hefeweizen before? They have a quite unique taste, very different than any other beer, IMO.
 
What was 'undrinkable' about it? It's possible that the beer was mishandled and thus ruined.

At the TJ near our place I noticed a huge stack of their house beers placed right in a window display. Brown bottles or not--- giving beer a southern exposure for days on end ain't good for flavor.
