Milk was on sale last week so I got a few gallons to experiment with. Aside from maybe not stretching it enough times it turned out pretty good and was a lot easier than I thought it might be.

Great, just what I needed, another hobby I won't have enough time to appreciate like I should... ;)

had my first experience making fresh mozz last week. was definitely not as easy as expected, but it still turned out great and there were no major headaches! a very good intro to the world of cheesemaking!

My first was ok. The second batch was really good. I've been meaning to make it again, but haven't yet. I'd like some fresh mozz on something, just have to plan on it.

I think our mozz turned out better when we microwaved the curds while stretching. It was easier than the hot water bath, IMO.
