I was out of town for business and i had swmbo take a hydrometer reading ( not the best idea) well she read it wrong so i asked her to re- pitch the yeast for me. It had been a couple weeks and the fg was no where near what it should have been. well not only did she re- pitch the yeast but she used london ale liquid yeast. When i returned i took a reading with her and realized that it was right on target she was just reading it wrong. My question is: will the extra yeast damage the quality of the brew? Or will it be fine?

It will be fine. With no sugars for the new yeast to convert they will simply flocculate with the rest of your yeast. Give it an extra week or so to allow that to happen and continue on from there.

I think you just got an extra $2-$3 worth of trub at the bottom of your primary.
