Our LHBS in Baltimore, Maryland has flooded and they need help recovering. I only wish I could donate more to them!

Please check them out on GoFundMe and show your love for Brian and Jill!

Below is the text from their GoFundMe page:

"Nepenthe Homebrew has flooded again. On July 30, a sudden and massive flash flood swept through the Meadow Mill complex, wiping out the shop we call home. The damage is extensive.

When we flooded in 2014, we were overcome by the level of support that we received from our community. You all came together to quite literally drag us out of the mud, and through your help and donations we were able to reopen after only six and a half weeks. We have not forgotten your generosity and continue to be humbled by the kindness and support you showed us.

We know that asking you all to come together and help us again is asking a lot, but we need the help now more than ever. This flood hits us at the end of our slow season, which puts considerable strain on our small business. The damage is worse this time around, and to make things worse, flood damage isn't covered under standard business insurance. We do carry a flood policy, but the coverage is very limited.

We know that some of you are thinking "why is your store still in a place that floods?" Unfortunately, it is extraordinarily difficult to get out of a commercial lease, and ours is no exception. It contains provisions specifically intended to keep us from leaving in the event that we suffer flood damage. We are currently weighing our options, but for now our hands are tied.

With your help, we will re-open as quickly as we can. We have not and will not ever give up. We appreciate everyone who has reached out to offer support and love!

Cheers,

Brian, Jill, Ciaran, & Benny (the pooch)

PS. We understand that donating is tough, just sharing this on social media and sending good vibes is appreciated more than you know. We have had many people reach out asking if we need help cleaning up - our heads are still swimming, but follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to find out when we need extra hands. Thank you again!"
