Pic below is some of the stringy stuff that was all over my IC chiller. Its a morning after shot, so the goop has dried and darkened. The consistency is almost like a plastic film. This is the second time Ive gotten this. The thing in common to both batches is the majority of both bills being Pale Wheat Malt. The other beer came out fine, so Im not really worried, just curious.
I usually get what looks like cloudy globs of cold break. Can break material be this type of stringy, plastic consistency? Is Wheat Malt more prone to produce it? Possibly more proteins in the grain?
