I know I'm probably over simplifying things here, but looking for some guidance. I have several recipes that I'm fond of and have considered doing a double/imperial version of them. I don't want to just scale up the quantities to hit a certain target gravity, as I realize that may be ok for base malt, but you wouldn't want to necessarily do it with something like black malt or carapils. Any input, generally or specifically, on pushing recipes to higher gravities?
