For some dumb reason I have a couple extra vials of WLP099. I will be making a Barleywine and using 2 vials, but have 2 others. What are the pros and cons of using one vial for a Pliny the Elder clone?

Thanks for helping.

Just do a starter. Gives you healthy active yeast so they don't get stressed :mug: Then there are no downsides: Pliny is strong enough that the ester problems associated with 099 at low gravities shouldn't arise.
