Could I make Apfelwein with other juices? (obv. wouldn't be apfelwein)

Would it be possible to use EdWort's Apfelwein recipe with other juice, assuming that it is additive free? I was thinking about making a batch with either cranberry or orange juice to see what would happen. Would I have any success?
 
Yes you can make wine with anything with sugar basically ( there are a few unfermentable sugars like lactose) Make sure the juice is preservative free.
