I just noticed 2 dime size spots of rust in the bottom of my keggle is it safe to use the keggle? What can I do to repair the spots?

Yeah, use Bar Keepers Friend, it actually helps to restore the layer on the surface of stainless called chromium oxide (which gives stainless it's corrosion resistance). DON'T USE STEEL WOOL, as some of the superfine particles may be left behind, this destroys the CO layer.

+1; and you don't have to scrub, you could use a paper towel when using Bar-Keepers
