I am doing a cream ale and got the strike water good at 152 for 75 minutes, but when I added my sparge water, after runnoff of strike water, i dump the water in, but forgot to stir everything again. I let it rest for about 15 minutes and then ran everything off. Did I completely screw up? Did not stirring in the sparge water leave a large amount of the fermentables back in the grains? It ran off real clear on the sparge..

It's to late now, but any advice for the future would be helpful.

Thanks
HB.

+1 might have affected your efficiency, but in my opinion as far as brewing mistakes go this isn't a very big one. Still, it's best to give it a stir.

Suprisingly I was aiming for 1057 and ended up at roughly 1055. Even if this is offset by the wort temp (maybe 2 points lower [1053]) I think my effeciency id actually better then I expected.
