I know that Star San, once mixed, can be stored to use again at a later date.
I was wondering if there were any storage particulars like temperature etc.

I had some blow off the other day and quickly mixed up a couple of gallons of star san to sanitize a new airlock. In four more days I'll be racking to secondary and I want to use that left over mix to sanitize my carboy. The only convenient place I have to store it is in the garage, but it's been a little cold in there lately...50's to 60's degrees.
I had read somewhere that as long as it bubbles up it's good?

Thanks

Tommy

ifyou stir it and it makes bubbles then that's a good thing.

Cold storage is better so your garage is fine.

I've been told it's good for around 2 weeks but like he said, as long as there are bubbles, you're ok.
