Three Week Itch

Does anyone else get a three week itch? I've brewed a couple of batches and it seems that after I rack to a secondary and its been about three weeks since I brewed a batch that I want to do something with it again. YEASTIES, WORK FASTER!

Maybe I just need to get another bucket. I should use this energy to brew a batch but I only have a carboy and a bucket that I use for primary/bottling. If I brew another batch I am out a bottling bucket. The tensions we live in...

Go buy another bucket fermenter... only $10-15 bucks and well worth the money!

If you're really in a pinch, you could use a Homer bucket as your bottling bucket.

convert your bathtub to an open fermenter. I'll bet a beer that someone has a DIY post showing you how!!

I cured the itch by having 4-6 brews going at once, different stages mind you...

just rig up a way to drain off the sludge with the tub drain and you would be set!

Hmmm... Bathtub MLT. Built in drain. Shower head for fly sparging. I'm sure it could be done.

I currently have 3 15 gallom barrels, 3 buckets, and 3 6.5 gal carboys.

3 beers on tap, 3 kegs conditioning, 2 empty kegs, 4 on the way, and 22 gallons fermenting. I am going to brew another 24 gallons this saturday
