I live in a small apartment and do not have room for an extra refrigerator and really get tired of the big tub of water method.
My pantry, below the bottom shelf, is big enough for three 5 gallon carboys. Do you think if I got foam insulation to create a "ceiling" that the sheet rock walls and slate floor would keep the temperature down?
If I used this method, or just built a foam insulated box, what about using dry ice just sitting in the box, maybe in a tub of water, rather than ice jugs?
