Hi all. Been readin the site for a couple weeks now. just started brewing this year thanks to my wife's great Chrsitmas present. Have a Porter bottled right now. I have been using Brewer's Best Kits from my local HBS.

My first beer was a Weissbier. It was good but lacked body.
The 2nd was an IPA. I took some advice from The Joy of Homebrewing and toasted the malt and it turned out pretty good.
The porter seems to have a slight fruit taste to it. I am thinking that it may have fermented warm since I am not using a fermentation chiller and we keep the apartment arounf 74.
