Convoluted Copper Heat Exchanger as IC

I'm trying to decide what to do about a Herms coil, and the MoreBeer one looks like a good idea for a compact efficient HEX, But would it also work for an IC for mostly 5, but an occasional 10gal batch? It would be nice to kill two birds with one stone.

You will have to modify it some I would imagine because it is 24" high.

Because of where it would sit vertically in the kettle? (its a keg, that will also be used as the HLT)

With it costing $189.95 before tax and shipping I would rather use it as a CFC and keep it out of the boil keggle for a strong clean whirlpool action.
