So my recipe calls for gypsum, and it is a PM with 3.5 lbs of grain. Do I need to add the gypsum to the PM water, or to the final wort after I add the LME?
I wouldn't add it at all unless your recipe comes from someone who shares your water source. Gypsum is used to adjust the alkalinity of the mash water and add calcium. Unless you know that your water needs those things, leave it out.
