average yield?

can anyone tell me the average yield of a hop vine from a rhizome? was going to look into planting my own, but wasn't sure how many to buy. i know it would certainly depend on how well they grow, but wanted to get a rough idea.
 
Its tough to say. There are many factors, but usually it increases each season. Some people say they don't get anything the first season, but I usually do...
 
Figure a half pound (dried) to 2 pounds, depending on the variety, under ideal growing conditions.
