No, there's a few other black guys who frequent the forum. There was a girl a while back too but she disappeared. I'm trying to get one of my black friends to learn now but he's barely getting into craft beer. Got him hooked on cigars two weeks ago, so I refuse to quit!

Yup most homebrewers are white middle class men in a technical field (engineering, computers, construction, mechanics, pilots, machinists, etc).
We don't see many women or minorities, but it's good to see em!

Engineers like building and tweaking things and have a firm grasp on hydraulics, chemistry, thermodynamics, etc. With beer, you can be constantly tweaking your setup but you don't have to. You can constantly tweak your recipies, but you don't have to. Lots of opportunity for experimentation (a nummy lab) but you don't HAVE to change anything.
Many engineers also like to drink... it's a win/win.
Pee in bottle. Add everclear. Carbonate.
