Before i would try my hand at an actual mead i thougth of ordering a couple of bottles off the web to see what i think.

So far i have found pirtle and redstone, which are both supposed to be good. Anybody have any recommendations?

Or are there better places to get it from?

thanks,

There are a lot of meads you can order off the web - just do a search. I've been to both Pirtle and Redstone and they're both good representatives.

I can get both of them in stores in Kansas City. Not sure how different the selection is where you are.

Missouri Beverage distributes Redstone in MO, not sure about Pirtle.
