When adding this, I can just throw it in during boil.......or do i neep to steep it in a bag?

Just throw it in 5 - 15 minutes before the end of the boil depending who you listen to.

I've heard it works better if you rehydrate it first before adding it to your boiling wort. I haven't tried it myself since switching to whirlfloc.
meh. just throw it in there near the end of your boil. same with whirfloc...same stuff, really.

It's a definite plus to use. It flocs out the cold break. Whirlfloc is a refined irish moss and is a lot easier to use.
