Address labels?

I've got a pack of 8160 address labels I found in my closet. Never use them. I thought maybe I could use them for a batch of mext brew, as sort of a smaller less "in your face" kind of label. They measure 1x2-5/8.

Anyway, I was wondering if these come off bottles easy enough before I have to wash thebottles for the next batch. I would hat eot have residue stuck all over them, that won't come off.

You'd have to soak the bottles in something (I use B-Brite) for a while (good to do anyway!) then scrape the labels and residue off with a plastic pan-scraper. It is a bit work-intensive compared to other methods but it will work fine if you just want to use 'em.

I have found Avery labels very difficult to get off in the past. Soaking them seems to cause the paper to separate from the glue but leave all the glue behind require scraping.

Yeah, they're Avery labels. If they're that much of a problem, I probably won't bother. Thanks.

Hot water and oxyclean. The Avery is what I use. They do take a little work though.
