You can't really convert weight to volume (cups), but you can get close. A pound of table sugar is approximately 2.25- 2.5 cups of sugar. It depends on the consistency of the sugar, though. A finer grain would be less (it packs down in the cup)

Sent my swmbo to store and they gave her a 5 lb bag of sugar instead of 4 1lb bags. It was cheaper at least.
They cut hours at work and gearing up to maybe being laid off. So getting a scale os out of the question right now.
Thanks for all the replies. Looking around the house and I found an old diet scale. So according to the 1 cup bags of corn sugar I had lying around. 4 cups looks to be about a pound.
No worries on that though now I just way out a pound.
