I just moved my Tripel to secondary (after over three weeks in primary). The fermentation was intense at first then chugged along slowly for three weeks.

OG = 1.075

Took a gravity reading during transfer and it was 1.010.

Is that too low? I'm worried it will be too thin/dry.

If so, what can be done to remedy this? Should I add some sugar or DME for depth?

Thanks

You mashed low and had a fair amount of sugar in there, so the low FG isn't too surprising. That 3787 is really high attenuating too.

You wouldn't want to add any sugar or DME since that would just ferment out further.

I'd wager that it will be fine. It may or may not be a tad on the dry (and alcoholy) side but I bet it will really mellow with time. Give it a couple months in secondary then pull a sample.

Its not too low, tripels are supposed to finish dry. From BJCP:

Vital Statistics: OG: 1.075 – 1.085
IBUs: 20 – 40 FG: 1.008 – 1.014
SRM: 4.5 – 7 ABV: 7.5 – 9.5%
