I recently purchased a Honey Brown Ale ingrediant kit from Northern Brewer. It came with one pound of clover honey that is to be added at the end of the boil.

From my experience when I have tried a beer made with honey I barely taste the honey or not at all. While I don't want it to be an overpowering flavor I would like to know that the honey is present. So would it be adviseable to increase the amount of honey added to the beer? Maybe another pound? Or more? Less? I realize some of this is really about personal perference. I don't want to add too much honey and ruin the beer but like I said I would like to be able to taste a little honey.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I recently used 1 teaspoon of honey per bottle in the place of priming sugar. That worked really well. You get a very champagne style fizz, with a mild honey taste.
