propane regulator problem

I fired up my bayou burner and sprayed everything with starsan to make sure there were no leaks and I noticed a small amount of gas leaking out of the very tiny hole in the regulator. I'm assuming that this means that it is broken and I need to get it replaced, but I just wanted to make sure since I have never used a propane burner before.
