So with the holidays, I'm now in the market for a decent kegerator.
I'm not exactly up for making my own (lack of materials, time, bad
experiences), so that leaves me with going out and buying one. Are
there any particular brands which you folks would suggest for me (or
to avoid)? I've got a budget of 450-600, and would prefer to go for a
single tap. I've already got a dual-tap from a previous experiment, so
changing the towers shouldn't be terribly hard (And I could always
sell off the single tap tower and extra regulator if needed).

Thanks!

Checked the computer at Costco and they're not carrying it anymore (at least not in my region- working at Costco has its perks :) ). The Kenmore isn't bad, it's definitely up on my list now.

For those who have purchased kegerators in the past- How difficult is it to switch out towers?

I swapped out the single on the Kenmore for a double a couple of years ago. Took as long as it takes to take out the three screws that support the tower and replace them. A very easy project.
