Straining hops

What's the point in adding leaf hops at "0 minutes" if you are just going to strain them off before going to the primary?

I have seen some recipies like this and it doesnt make sense to me.
 
I'm suprised nobody has answered this yet. A hop addition that late is mostly for aroma. I'll usually throw in an ounce of whole cone hops right before I turned the burner off, and let them hang out while I'm cooling.
 
yea, I guess the wort still is hot at that point and if it takes a half hour to cool, then that's a decent steeping time...

All right. That works for me.
