not bottle carborizing

Bottled a beer about week ago and opened one and it is still not carborized Was using wlp 60 and added 5 oz of dextrose to batch before bottling .
have made this same beer time before with no problem. only diffrence this time put it into secondary let it ferment out longer. Any suggestions?

How did you mix in your sugar? I agree with the above that one week is probably just not enough time, but what was your process?
 
...and because you used the word twice, let me correct you since it clearly wasn't a typo...but you are wondering why the bottled are not carbonating...not "carborized".
 
1 week is way too soon for it to be properly carbonated. Like the others said, give it 2 more weeks and you should be good.
 
tks for help as for my spelling too much time in steel industry with that carburizing . simple brain fart there
