I want to prime each bottle individually and would like to know if anyone has used the tablets that you put in the bottles? It seems easier than measuring out the priming sugar for each bottle. Will it affect the final taste in anyway? Thanks for your help. katie

Welcome to HBT! Nope, won't affect the taste at all. The tablets are just candied dextrose, which is the most common sugar used for priming. I break them apart and use 1/4 tablet per 12 oz when bottling keg carbonated beer.

They work fine, just a really expensive way to carbonate. Since I keg mostly, I use the carb drops when I do bottle.
