So, I got my brewstand all wired up tonight. :rockin:

Then, I plug it in, and flip the main power switch. My indicator light lights up. Then I flip a power switch to one of the pumps to see if it works... it doesn't. Neither does the other... The temp controllers have no power either.

Admittedly, I didn't pay much attention in my EE class in school, but I'm hoping someone here can spot something easy to fix in my very crude sketch of a wiring diagram.

The red circles are indicator lamps, the black unfilled circles are switches. The black, white and green rectangles are the buses. The solenoids are the valves on the right. Although the wiring isn't specifically shown for the temp controllers, they are wired per this website: http://tinyurl.com/6pxvqc

Any glaring problems here???

Thanks for any and all help!

Some things to try Your indicator lights need to be connected to the white and the black wire. Pick up the black after the item you want them to come on with.

Your switches go on the black wire only unless they have lights in them.

You can not run the indicator lights in series with the load, they must be run in parallel.

That's actually what occurred to me in the shower this morning!

Thanks guys, I'll give it some more work and see what I can do. :mug:

I did test my 23 jet burners last night, and my thought is just "wow!" :rockin:

Fixed, and working great. Once my kegs get their couplings welded in, I'll be good to go start brewing again. :mug:
