I have yet to brew this but me and the owner of my lhbs put this one together it is suppose to be a 2.5 gallon.

Wyeast 1007 German Ale

Ferment at 64 for several weeks?

total grain bill 5.88 lbs
3# Vienna
2# Munich Malt I
.25# CaraWheat
.25# Caramunich II
.19# Carared
.19# Carapils

Boil 60 min
1oz Hallertau 3.8% 60 Min
.5 oz Hallertau 3.8% 15 min
.5 oz Hallertau 3.8% 5 miin

Mashing for 60 min at 150 degrees

according to brewmate
Calculated at 70%
My OG would be 1.062
FG 1.016

any suggestions i thought about upping to 3 gallons instead of 2.5 to lower that og

would this classify as a German Alt
