Hoppy American Amber Suggestion???

Soon I'll be racking to secondary and am getting geared up for filling the primary again. Does anyone have a suggestion for a hoppy amber? I am a fan of North Coast's Red Seal Ale, generally considered an American Amber, yes? I am new to brewing, so please feel free to expand my shopping horizons beyond Northern Brewer or Midwest!

I agree. This is a really good beer.

Jamil discusses the style and the recipe in the American Amber Ale "Jamil Show" episode.

If you don't already have it, his book, Brewing Classic Styles is a really strong, proven book of recipes. Everything I've made out of it has been a good beer.

Bobby_M's Magirocillent (sp?) Amber is pretty tasty. Lots of hop aroma but not super bitter.

Which was loosely based on the West Coast Blaster only not as high OG/ABV. I still wanted it to be a session beer. Magnarrillocent (magnum, amarillo, centennial) :mug:

In retrospect I was really grasping for a clever name there.
