So, I was pitching my yeast into AHS's anniversary APA just now and my hands were wet and the whole tube of yeast fell into the fermenter!

I did sanitize the whole tube, but I'm not sure how to get it back out! And since I already pitched the yeast, I wasn't sure if I could pour it back into my bottling bucket and get the tube out and put it back in the better bottle with it being okay?

What should I do?!

Yes. As long as you sanitized the whole tube, just leave it be.

Yeah, I had the whole tube in my bucket-o-sanitizer during the boil, and let it air dry while I cooled the wort.

I searched my whole kitchen and have nothing that would fit inside the better bottle to help fish it out.

Okay, I will let it be and eat some dinner and have a homebrew. Thanks!

It's hanging out with the rubber grommet I pushed into my batch this afternoon.

Pushing the airlock too hard gets everyone eventually.

Well, I left the tube it, got it in my basement, and it is happily bubbling away right now!

I'll update to let you know how it turns out.

Cool, when you fish it out it will still have yeast in it!

That got my laugh of the day.

On topic:

Leave the tube in there and name the beer in a humourous way.

Edit:

Next years HBT winning receipe includes a sanitized yeast tube as an ingrediant?
