I just received my new brew kettle(the last thing I need to start going all grain) It came with some pretty deep scratches in it though. It is stainless steel, should I send it back or will it be ok? I was going to brew this weekend. I don't mind the scratches if it is just an appearance thing. But could it screw up my beer?

If it was a sanke, I was going to suggest that you could try buffing them out. Pickles is right, it will likely get more scratches but deep ones right off the bat for something you bought as "new" wouldn't make me happy with the supplier. I'd like to be the one putting scratches in my own equipment.
This is my view.
Probably won't matter, but I don't take to paying good money for something with damage or defect.
