Did you go? I heard about this far too late to participate.

My Neighbor went and said it was a great event, he even came in 3rd!
 
Yeah I did. It was a great event. For my own taste I was a little disappointed there weren't any Belgian styles represented but that's a pretty minor complaint.
 
that's probably a more expensive grainbill to put out for other's consumption. Unless they bought/paid for the beer. How much did you have to bring to this event?
 
Didn't have to bring anything. There were 10 homebrewers featured and everyone else bought tickets. I'm not sure how the brewers themselves were compensated but the beer was definitely paid for.
