I was doing a home inspection today and was given an empty keg that was not being used by the owner. Now I just have to figure out if it will fit my Bayou burner and how in the hell I am going to cut the top out.
I was just about to purchase a stainless boil pot, but might end up having to get a new burner instead. :rockin:

Nice I scored my first keg about 2 weeks ago, I strongly suggest taking it to a welding shop and having them cut the top and ball valve spot out with a plasma cutter, makes your life easier and prob save money on top of it.

To fit the keg on your burner, you might try using a couple of 1/4" x 2" x 24" pieces of steel to support the bottom. That what I used on my burner, since the kegs bottom diameter is too big for the burner support to hold. Hope it works for you, good luck.
